Chicken And Rice Bake

Crockpot chicken and rice dish featuring long grain white rice mixed with cream of chicken soup, fresh mushrooms, diced chicken breasts and frozen peas.
Ingredients -
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 cup sliced Fresh Mushrooms
1-1/4 cup Long Grain White Rice
2 cup Water
4 Chicken Breasts
1 tablespoons Dry Onion Soup Mix
1 cup Frozen Peas
 
Preparation:

1. Add cream of chicken soup, fresh mushrooms, long grain white rice, and water to crock pot.

2. Stir to combine.

3. Lay chicken breasts over top of rice mixture.

4. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix and peas over chicken breasts.

5. Cover crock pot and cook on LOW 8 hours.

Cook chicken within a few days of purchase, or clean, seal tightly first in plastic wrap and then foil and freeze.

The price per pound of chicken breasts varies greatly. Fresh chicken will generally be more expensive than that which has been flash frozen. The best deals will be when chicken is purchased in bulk.
